About Ramakanta Bhattacharjee
Who I Am
I’m Ramakanta Bhattacharjee—a Business & Executive Coach, former senior executive and board member, investor, mentor, and lifelong learner.
Over the past few decades, I’ve led multimillion-dollar businesses across Asia in building materials, IT education, and franchise development. My expertise spans strategic growth, business turnarounds, new project development, sales, marketing, and M&A—often in complex, fast-changing, and talent-scarce environments.
But beyond boardrooms and strategy decks, what always lit me up most was mentoring people, developing leaders, and building businesses that make a difference.
Today, I guide leaders through Focus and Structure to build businesses that create sustainable Freedom—personally and professionally.
My Turning Point
After years abroad in high-level leadership roles, I made the decision to shorten my expatriate career and reunite with my wife and two sons in Canada. That was one of the hardest but most meaningful decisions of my life.
It gave me the space to reflect on what truly drives me now: contribution, growth, and alignment.
As I explored acquisition opportunities in Canada, I saw the same pattern repeating:
Businesses often had strong financials but lacked scalable systems, empowered teams, and operational clarity.
I realized my next chapter wasn’t just about running businesses — it was about guiding leaders to build sustainable businesses through Focus, Structure, and Freedom.
Why I Coach
After decades of leading businesses and building teams, I realized the most lasting success doesn’t come from effort alone — it comes from clarity, structure, and sustainability.
I coach because I believe leaders deserve to build businesses that serve their life and legacy — not consume it.

Beyond Business
I’m also a proud father of two Eagle Scouts and a dedicated community volunteer. I served as Committee Chair for the Jakarta Troop of the Boy Scouts of America, mentoring young scouts to achieve Eagle rank. Currently, I volunteer with a Canadian non-profit focused on making the internet safer for vulnerable groups.
Contribution is core to my values—whether in business, family, or community.
